Malayalam for NRI children

Children who grow up outside Kerala often understand Malayalam at home but reply in English, and rarely get the chance to read or write it. Malayalam for NRI Children combines speaking, reading and writing in short, engaging lessons, so the language becomes something they use — with grandparents, at family events and on visits home. How it works

  1. Tell us what you need. Message us on WhatsApp or fill in the short enquiry form — subject or language, grade or level, and the days and times that suit you.
  2. Free demo class. We arrange a free demo so the learner can meet the teacher and you can see how the class works.
  3. Matched teacher and schedule. We match a teacher by subject, level and availability, and agree a one-to-one or small-group plan.
  4. Learn and track progress. Classes run live online. Students and parents can see the schedule, attendance, homework and progress in the Glider student portal.

Frequently asked questions

My child understands Malayalam but cannot read it. Where should we start?

Reading & Writing is usually the right start: it teaches the Malayalam letters step by step and builds up to reading words and sentences. Malayalam for NRI Children is a good alternative if you also want to strengthen speaking.

Can adults join Malayalam classes?

Yes. Adults join to speak with a partner’s family, to work in Kerala, or to reconnect with the language they grew up with. Beginner and Speaking are the most common starting points.

We live in the UAE. Can we take classes in our time zone?

Yes. Classes are online and timings are agreed with you, so you can choose slots that suit the UAE school day and weekend.

Are the classes live or recorded?

Classes are live and online, taught by a Glider teacher in real time — either one-to-one or in a small group. You only need a laptop, tablet or phone with a stable internet connection.

Can we try a class before joining?

Yes. We offer a free demo class so the learner can meet the teacher and you can decide whether the course is the right fit.
